For couples unable to go 24/7 in their daily lives or wanting to trial what going 24/7 would be like, a 24/7 diapered vacation is an amazing idea. For many ABDL people we speak to it's been a fantasy they've wanted to try and a vacation provides the perfect situation to give it a go.
This post will include a practical guide to doing it for the first time, with lots of tips and tricks, and a few varieties of options for you to consider.
Although all vacations can be fun diapered 24/7, for your first one a colder destination will make it easier and makes offers more discreet clothing options.
For best experience it's ideal if it's a longer vacations of 1-3 weeks rather than a weekend away.
Your partner being diapered shouldn't change your vacation negatively and it's important you continue to do everything you would normally on a vacation. Don't let them being diapered change planned activities.
If your partner hasn't been 24/7 for an extended period before also be prepared for them to lose interest or ask for it to end early. It's critical that you stand firm and are fully behind maintaining their diapering for the entire trip.
Your partner will be extremely grateful for doing this for them, even if they have doubts or fears at times, so this is a gift to them. Feel free to ask for something in return, you taking priority in decisions about what to do each day is recommended.
Remember to relax! Being away from home ensures you're extremely unlikely to meet people you know. Don't worry about being as discreet as you might at home and remember millions of adult wear diapers and there is nothing wrong with it. If someone notices they are diapered, they'll not say anything and you'll never see them again anyway.
The main element of preparation is calculating the number of diapers your partner will require for the vacation. The thinnest diaper you should use are medical options like Tena Slip Ultima but higher capacity medical diapers like Northshore Megamax also work well. For bedtime and long flights high capacity ABDL or medical diapers should be used.
I would recommend 2-3 daytime + 1 bedtime diaper per day of your trip. For travel days they should be in a fresh diaper before airport security and then prior to boarding the flight be changed into a high capacity diaper. Take at least 3 extra diapers for the flight to allow changes on board and upon arrival.
A two week vacation would then require:
- 2x standard + 2x high capacity diapers for each flight day
- 13 x 3 daytime diapers
- 13 x 1 nighttime diapers
Total = 41 standard diapers + 17 high capacity diapers
This many diapers will require their own suitcase and a top tip is most airlines will fly it for free if you inform them it's for medical supplies.
You should also pack in the suitcase:
- Adult wet wipes
- Several discreet onesies
- Rash prevention cream
- Baby powder
- Anti-chaffing cream
- Suppositories / Fleet Enemas
- ABDL Nightwear
- Diaper Disposal Bags
Their carryon should include 3-4 diapers, a change of clothes incase of any leaks, diaper disposal bags and a smaller discreet bag (e.g. a pull tie sports bag) to include a single diaper change supplies.
Their suitcase shouldn't include any underwear so their only option is diapers for the full vacation.
At the very minimum your key role is to enforce their diapering but being on vacation removes the usual challenges of work and other life commitments giving you the perfect opportunity to have a higher than usual involvement in their diaper wearing.
Three levels of involvement:
Light:
- You check they are diapered at all times
- You do all their dry/wet diaper changes while at your hotel
- You ask them when away from the hotel how their diaper is holding up and if they need to go change
Medium:
- You decide when to change them by checking their diaper regularly, in public you still do checks but they can change themselves.
Ideal:
- You do all their diaper changes, including in public. Find family, accessible or changing places toilets to do this easily.
- Doing messy changes is at your discretion
Checking in public can be done discreetly by squeezing the front/back of their diaper through their clothes, pulling the back of their waistband to check for messes, making them expose their diaper in a seculed area (like an elevator) or taking them quickly to a restroom. Alternatively if these aren't possible, ask them openly if their diaper needs changing soon.
Light:
- They're diapered 24/7 (no underwear or pull-ups allowed)
- They use their diapers for all peeing
- Can use the toilet for #2 at a diaper change but must use the diaper if they're unable to hold
Medium:
- Must use their diaper for everything while at or near the hotel
- In public may use a toilet for #2 if required
Ideal:
- Everything goes in their diaper, no exceptions.
- They're encouraged to use their diaper whenever the urge occurs
A vacation can be an ideal time to include babying and try new levels of involvement it:
Light:
- ABDL clothing every night
Medium:
- Bottle to be used for their bedtime drink
- Pacifier to be used at nighttime
- Wear ABDL onesies under adult clothes
Ideal:
- Dress them more "little" in public while remaining discreet. For example a onesie and dungarees work amazingly for both baby boys and girls.
- You call them baby and they call you mommy/daddy
- Use "Ideal" levels for both Usage & Involvement
- Take a small backpack to be used as their diaper bag and take this whenever leaving your accommodation for more than an hour. This should include 1-2 diaper changes, changing supplies and a change of clothes incase of accidents.
- On flights have them use a smaller tie bag to take a new diaper to the toilet to change into which is more discreet than a full backpack.
- Get them to research family or changing place toilets in advance and mark them on a Google Map.
- Unpack the diapers they will require into a wardrobe at your accommodation to easy access & keep changing supplies on hand to avoid having to open a suitcase each time.
- Have them take Devrom for the entire trip to minimize smells from messy diapers.
- Double bag all messy diapers, so make sure you bring enough diaper disposal bags.
- Going on a day trip where a messy diaper would be inconvenient? Use a suppository in the morning to clear them out before leaving.
- Ensure they drink enough and don't dehydrate in an attempt to avoid using as many diapers, this leads to smellier pee which is less discreet.
- Leave a tip for the housekeeping staff each day as a thank you for taking away the extra rubbish.
It can be fun to have some challenges to complete as a couple during their diapered vacation. These are some of my favorites:
- Change them into a fresh diaper at an adult diaper changing station available in most major airports.
- Make a private photo album of vacation pictures with their diaper slightly visible each time (waistband showing, diaper visible beneath dress/shorts).
- Inform hotels that you need a medical disposal bin in the room.
- Book them a spa treatment while diapered (inform in advance about their medical condition).
- Give them a suppository to take while in public, e.g. at the end of a meal out.
- Spend a day diapered alongside them, this can be really fun for them if you don't normally do it.
- Make them use a swim diaper whenever swimming in a pool / the sea
